5 Jul

So the Couture week has finally started and what better way then Giambattista. Loads of feathers along with animal print is how you could describe this collection. Luca Luca Fall 2011- New York Fashion Week

12 Feb

Finally, after a long wait, we get to see some bright pop of colors in New York Fashion Week 2011.

Luca Luca Designer Raul Melgoza showed a wide range of ensembles in bright orange, honeysuckle red, mustard green while keeping the neutral palette intact for winter with blacks, grays and whites.

Luca ruled the collection with thick fur jackets, tailored pants, flirty feminine skirts, and romantic evening dresses.

Way to bring in this winter.

Rag & Bone Fall 2011- New York Fashion Week

12 Feb

It was all stripes,  lines and all kinds of checkered for Rag & Bone at New York fashion Week Fall 2011. While neutral tones like white, black and gray seemed to take the center stage, we saw some Tartans mixes in Bright Blue, Red and Orange too.

As for the collection, unlike other designers, David Neville and Marcus Wainwright showed its uniqueness yet again by presenting an array of clothes strictly in forms of jackets and pants with loads of tweeds.

Check out the collection below.

Tadashi Shoji fall 2011 – New York Fashion Week

11 Feb

The hot new Tadashi Shoji Fall 2011 collection seen at New York Fashion week yesterday is definitely one of my favorites till now.

Shoji displayed ultra feminity through an array of dresses such as  lace, feathery ruffles, florals, shimmers, and blings in form of long gowns and mid length day and night dresses.

The ancient gardens of the Far East inspired collection had a dark color palette which consisted of neutral to darker hues like purple, forest green, mustard and magenta.

I think we already have the winner of the week. However, we shall wait for others to finish.

Check out the collection below.
