We have seen some major celebrities like Kourtney Kardashian and designers like Giorgio Armani and Jason Wu showcasing the wildest turbans this season on the runway. This clearly sets a trend to try for 2011.

However, how many of us would actually dare to wear a turban in public?

Should all the fashion trends be followed just to be in style?

The answer is YES. If you have the ability to wear a confident face and a confident body language, you can pull off anything under the sun.

If you are still conscious on how to wear it, make sure you keep the rest of your outfit minimalistic which means avoiding designs with ruffles, bold prints, overly exaggerated pleats, pleated pants, harem pants etc.

The best part about this look is it that it instantly gives you a new look and you are surely to get noticed between the crowds.

I personally would wear my turban with a plain shirt and jeans with some minimal accessories.

Check out the pictures below to get an idea on how to spot a turban.
