The Parsian/ French Creative Director of Céline was crowned Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards  2010 which took place last Tuesday, December 7th at the Savoy Hotel and Theatre in London.

The high esteemed Fashion Desginer, who has earned a big name across the fashion world, started off her big leap in 1997 working as a designer for Chloé .In 2001, Philo became the Creative Director of Chloé.

Her elegant yet sophisticated style has won her huge applauds by the fashion industry which has led Chloé to become one of the most attractive fashion name of the Century.

In 2008, Philo was hired by Céline as Creative Director. And the rest as we say is history.

Other Awards during the ceremony included,
the Designer Brand Award- Won by Mulberry,
Accessory Designer award – won by Nicholas Kirkwood
Menswear Designer Award – won by Patrick Grant for his label E. Tautz.
