Dubai International Film Festival 2010

13 Dec

Dubai’s glamour quotient just went up a notch, with celebrities from our very own T’Town putting their best dress forward shinning away in the glory of desert.

The seventh year of Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) has officially opened its doors with a bang on Sunday, December 12,2010.

The Event is schedule to run from 12-19th december 2010 at Madinat Jumierah Hotel, Dubai.

This year DIFF will include, 41 world premieres, 13 international premieres, 58 Middle East premieres and 32 Gulf premieres, and an array of renowned personalities gracing the red carpet.

We spotted actors Colin Firth, Carey Mullligan, Sarah Wayne and Ntare Mwine of the Blood Diamond fame shinning on the opening night at DIFF.

British actress Carey Mulligan and Collin Firth graced the occasion for the Opening Night Gala of ‘The King’s Speech’ during day one of the 7th Annual Dubai Film Festival held at the Madinat Jumeriah Complex.

Colin Firth was also there to receive the the Variety award which honours both Colin Firth’s acting talent and his ability to bring in box office crowds. The award was presented by Carey Mulligan.

I totally adore how beautifuly Mulligan carries the Erdem ‘Lila’ dress with a ‘Daphnis’ print from the Resort 2011 collection with a beautilfull blonde updo.

Mulligan was heard saying (to the crowd of over 400 fans) that she felt as excited as them to be in the presence of a ‘movie star’.
